If ever there was a policeman who proved you don't have to be a tough guy to be a cop, it would have to be The Bill's Reg Hollis. Scotland-born actor Jeff Stewart has spent over 20 years playing London's most put-upon PC, but eagle-eyed TV fans may also remember him putting in appearances in Doctor Who, Crossroads and Hi Di Hi.
