Who can forget poor young EastEnders" character Matthew, standing in the dock as a guilty verdict is read out, even though he"s innocent. The dramatic storyline gripped British TV audiences for weeks and sent EastEnders" ratings soaring. Since leaving Albert Square, Joe has popped up in a number of other series, including POW, Servantsand, more recently, Doc Martin.
