Kirsty Allsopp

Daughter of the 6th Baron Hindlip and interior designer Fiona McGowan, privately educated Kirsty moved to India to teach English after leaving school, before returning to the UK to embark upon a career working on interior design magazines. Opting to study history of art at Christie's - her father is the former chairman - she later founded her own property search business. One of her clients was a journalist who wrote a piece on how useful her service was - leading Channel 4 to woo her into presenting their new show Location, Location, Location. She shot to fame with her no-nonsense approach and the series spawned follow-ups including Relocation, Relocation. The brunette lives with her property developer beau Ben, their son Bay, and Ben's two children from a previous relationship
