Grizzled DCI Jack Meadows is head honcho of the various officers who take to the streets of Sun Hill each day. One of The Bill's longest-standing cast-members, he joined the show back in 1992. It is far from his only credit, however, as he has also appeared in the TV series Bread and Crime And Punishment. When he's not dishing out orders to his crime-fighting team, the actor who is a regular performer with the Royal Shakespeare Company is often found on the West End stage.
