Playing Lisa Hunter in teen soap opera Hollyoaks between 2001 and 2005 made Manchester-born Gemma one of UK TV's best-known faces. Indeed, the relationship between her character and on-screen boyfriend Ben was so popular it led to a spin-off series Hollyoaks: Let Loose. The actress, who's also had success as a model - appearing in lingerie ads for La Senza and Ultimo - is a regular reality TV participant. She made the final four in ITV1's Soapstar Superstar and appeared on Celebrity Weakest Link and Celebrity Masterchef. In 2007 the actress, whose rigorous exercise routine includes twice-weekly boxing classes, signed up for a new reality outing - I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. Off-screen she's made headlines with her love life, having dated Emmerdale actor Cleveland Campbell and Manchester United footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
