Kiefer named US TV's top earning actor as executives consider fate of '24'

24 star Kiefer Sutherland has just been named US TV's top-paid actor - taking home $550,000 for every outing as counter-terrorist agent Jack Bauer. But fans of the series will be sad to know it could be coming to an end. TV bosses at Fox, who commission the show, are currently deciding whether to renew its contract after Kiefer and co are done filming the upcoming season.
