Lee Stafford

Celebrity hairdresser
Born: 1966
Famous for: Turning Tamara Beckwith into a dab hand with the trimmers on Celebrity Scissorhands

Essex-born Lee Stafford began cutting hair from an early age, practising on members of his family. It was while he was in his teens that his mum said he would be perfectly suited to hairdressing as he hated the cold, liked wearing nice clothes and loved women. He decided to take it up as a career and since then has "never looked back". Lee opened his first salon in 1996 and started out on the road to fame two years later when he won Men's British Hairdresser Of The Year. He's shared his styling knowledge on various TV shows, including This Morning and Britain's Next Top Model and puts his skills to good use in Celebrity Scissorhands, in which he trains celebs in the art of hairdressing at a special academy, with all profits going to the BBC's Children In Need charity.
