Famous for: His interpretation of the protagonist in the TV series History Of Tom Jones

Born into a musical family his father was a drummer, his mother a jazz singer Max initially gravitated towards a musical career, working as a session player with artists such as Robbie Williams and George Michael. A former flame of Spice Girl Melanie Brown, Max went on to focus on acting and is best known for his compelling performance in the TV miniseries History Of Tom Jones. He also played registrar Rob Lake in the hospital drama series Bodies. In 2004 he made the transition to the big screen starring alongside rapper Ice Cube in the big-budget thriller Torque.
