Poor old Curly fell head over heels when the dizzy but delightful Raquel arrived in Coronation Street. And soap fans were soon equally taken with the performer who quickly became one of British TV's most popular stars. Since bidding adieu to Weatherfield the actress has appeared in a series of acclaimed dramas, including The Cry, Gentleman's Relish, Clocking Off and The Glass.
