Since she first arrived in Coronation Street back in 2001, Shobna has become one of the series' most popular characters. Her onscreen romances with Irish charmer Ciaran and shopkeeper Dev have kept TV audiences enthralled for months on end. In real-life the Oldham-born actress is well-known for her contributions to anti-racism campaigns.
