Steve Coogan's alter ego Alan Partridge has kept British audiences cringing and laughing in equal measure for well over a decade. Indeed, the Manchester-born comedian has been a near constant presence on the UK's small screen since he first joined the Spitting Image team back in 1984. Coogan's Run and I'm Alan Partridge were among his most popular TV shows, while he"s also appeared in the movies The Parole Officer and 24 Hour Party People.
