The Prince of Wales showed he's a true knight in shining armour, using his royal jet to give Camilla Parker Bowles a lift when she was stranded at Aberdeen airport.

With his future bride's commercial flight delayed by fog, the Prince, who was set to fly from the Scottish city to Switzerland, opted to make a 500-mile detour to get Camilla to her destination.

The 57-year-old divorcée was soon dropped off safe and sound at RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire, arriving just in time to make it to a private appointment. "Camilla was very pleased indeed," a source told The Sun. "She said it was a very 'romantic gesture'."

As Camilla gets accustomed to such aspects of royal life, she's also preparing for the unveiling of an official coat of arms which recognises her new status as a member of the Royal Family.

Designed by Garter King of Arms Peter Gwynn-Jones, with the contribution of Camilla's ideas, it will likely include a blue boar emblem from the crest used by her father. She will be able to use the coat of arms on flags related to her personal possessions, such as those flying on her cars or over a private residence.
