Family day for Alexandra and the boys

Family values are still the number one priority for Denmark's Princess Alexandra, who joined her ex-husband Prince Joachim and their two sons, Nikolai and Felix, for a day out at the weekend. Looking characteristically radiant, the pretty royal went along to accompany her two little boys and their father to the christening of their old friend Oskar Siebye's son on Saturday afternoon.

Their outing came just a few days after Alexandra wowed her fans at the christening of Crown Prince Frederik and Princess Mary's new baby boy. On that occasion the 41-year old was striking in a tailored cream coat and hat, but on Saturday she opted for darker hues with a fur coat and matching feather boa to protect her from the chilly weather.

She and Joachim decided to end their marriage last year, but they are obviously comfortable in each other's company nonetheless. The two, who are well-known for their dedication to Nikolai and Felix, are frequently seen enjoying family activities together. And last weekend was no exception, with the proud parents both sporting broad smiles as they emerged from the church hand-in-hand with their children.
