Despite her royal links, the Duchess of York obviously isn't afraid to try her hand at some of life's more humble professions. Sarah has revealed that she and her friend Sharon Osbourne recently stunned diners at an upmarket eaterie in the British capital by posing as lavatory attendants.

"We had dinner in this really smart London restaurant," explained the 47-year-old. "After a few drinks we thought it would be quite fun to go down to the ladies and pretend to be loo attendants. It was very naughty, but God it was funny."

"We were down there for half an hour and Sharon insisted we do it properly - handing people towels and opening cubicle doors for them. Most knew who we were and just smiled or looked really bemused, but one lady didn't recognise us and got irritated when Sharon asked her where she got her dress. She thought we were being rude - it was hilarious."

The mum-of-two can look forward to spending her time in a rather more glamorous environment if reports linking her to Dancing With The Stars come to fruition. The flame-haired royal has been invited to appear on the American reality show after expressing her desire to join other contestants in learning the tango.
