They are both still regular fixtures on the London night scene and stories over their flirtations with the opposite sex often make the headlines.

Yet if ever there was a case of absence making the heart grow fonder, it seems that Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy are it, with signs that their passionate love match could reignite.

Just months after the end of their five-year romance, the former sweethearts are still in constant contact, reports the Daily Mail.

"They have been catching up a lot with emails and texts," explained a friend of the pair. "They've also been seeing each other quietly. Basically it looks like soon enough they will be back on".

Adding to the speculation about a reunion is the fact that Chelsy was recently seen socialising with a member of Harry's circle, nightclub owner Nick House, who is a former flame of ex-Spice Girl Geri Halliwell.

Harry, meanwhile, seems to have called time on a liaison with sultry TV presenter Caroline Flack after entertaining her in his private Clarence House apartments.

An earlier friendship with Kate Middleton's, blonde pal Astrid Harbord - with whom the third-in-line attended an all-night rave party - also seems to have petered out.
