The world's most eligible: Harry and Pippa top HELLO!'s special poll

28 NOVEMBER 2011

Now that his big brother is married and off the market, Prince Harry has roared into the title of the world’s most eligible bachelor.

Handsome, fun, third in line to the British throne – what’s not to love about the Prince and Princess of Wales’s 27-year-old son? He’s single again following his split from long-term love Chelsy Davy earlier this year and his fling with Florence Brudenell-Bruce over the summer.

And while Harry’s known to enjoy a party and has an ardent female following, his many admirers point out that there is much more to Harry than just a playboy prince.

He is passionate about charity, earlier this year joining an expedition preparing to trek to the North Pole for Walking With the Wounded.

He has an amazing rapport with children, is sporty and is highly regarded by his army colleagues.

Next year, his profile is set to rocket even further with the news that he will be undertaking his first solo royal tour – which, HELLO! can exclusively confirm, will be to Jamaica.

Coming close behind Harry in our poll are Bradley Cooper, Leonardo DiCaprio, Dominic Cooper and Gerard Butler.

Meanwhile, Pippa Middleton has taken the title for the ladies.

Her dazzling appearance as maid of honour at her sister’s wedding made her one ofthe most talked-about women in the world, but it’s only been in recent weeks that the pretty brunette has become an eligible singleton again.

Her surprise split from her partner of three years, City broker Alex Loudon, means that she can reclaim her title as No. 1 Society Singleton – and the fact that the charismatic party planner is these days the sister-in-law of the future King puts her at the very top of our most eligible women list.

Rounding out the list are Cheryl Cole, Emma Watson, Cameron Diaz and Nicole Scherzinger.
