Spider-Man. The American leader was caught unawares by a mini version of the superhero as he walked out of the Oval Office, and reacted with shock as he was trapped by in a web.

Mr Obama's staff - was captured on film by White House photographer Pete Souza. The snapper takes behind-the-scenes pictures every year of the US president, who has just been named
TIME magazine's Person of the Year for 2012. It's the second time he has had held the title in four years, the first being just after he was elected to office in 2008.
