Princess Mary and Prince Frederik enjoy family fun in the snow

In keeping with their family tradition Prince Frederik and Princess Mary were back on the slopes enjoying a winter break in Switzerland with their youngsters. The Danish royals released adorable family snapshots of themselves playing in the snow whilst on holiday in Verbier ski resort.

Mary and Frederik and their four children Christian, Isabella, Vincent and Josephine wrapped up warm to enjoy a spot of tobogganing in the Swiss Alps. The cute personal images show 41-year-old Mary and her daughter Princess Josephine, who celebrated her second birthday on January 8 with twin brother Vincent. Sporting a colourful woolly hat big sister Isabella pulled her mum and Josephine along on their red toboggan, much to the youngster's delight. Josephine smile beamed out from beneath her grey bobble hat, bearing the face of a bear, as she took in the snowy surroundings from the safety of her mum's arms.

The low temperatures did nothing to dampen Christian and Vincent's spirits either and the two settled on a black and red sled helped along by Prince Frederik. Verbier, a favorite destination of the Danish royals, has become an annual vacation spot for Frederik's family, as well as that of his younger brother, Prince Joachim. But the resort town attracts other royals and celebrities, too. Its list of past visitors includes Princes William and Harry, their cousins Beatrice and Eugenie, and the Beckham family.
