The sporty royal, who is a keen rugby player and qualified coach, cheered the England team to victory as they beat their rivals 20-13.

Watching from the stands, Harry looked to be in high spirits and very involved in the game as he clapped and chatted to fans around him. The prince looked dapper in a navy suit and red tie, and proudly wore a Remembrance Day poppy.

Before the big match, Harry recorded a YouTube video to wish the England rugby team good luck ahead of the QBE internationals.

"Really good luck for the autumn internationals," he said. "I think I'm only going to be here for the Aussie game but best of luck for Argentina and New Zealand as well.

"Make sure you win every single one of them," the 28-year-old added.

"You're going to have all the support here — you're going to have 80,000 people in this fantastic stadium. Hopefully the stadium will be filled with white shirts so let's bring it home, make it happen. Make the most of it, everyone's behind you."

Harry is due to start his South Pole charity expedition in a fortnight, and will return just in time for Christmas on 23 December.

The charming prince, who will be taking part in the 208-mile race, is hoping to raise £2million for charity Walking With The Wounded.

Harry's visit to Twickenham comes just weeks after he hosted a training session for a group of youngsters.

The sporty prince showed off his impressive skill set as he darted around the green in his white polo shirt and dark tracksuit bottoms.

As patron of the Rugby Football Union All Schools Programme, Harry held the session for state school pupils in the hope of encouraging more students to get into the sport and join their local clubs.
