Prince Harry has a right royal laugh when David Walliams invites him to Peter Andre concert

09 JULY 2014

Prince Harry had a right royal laugh with comedian David Walliams when the pair met at a charity event at the Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday evening.

The British royal clearly enjoyed a spot of comedy when David picked up a leaflet advertising Peter Andre's upcoming concert at the venue and showed it to Harry, inviting him to go.

The Little Britain star later shared the high moment with his fans on Twitter. "I just met Prince Harry and asked him if he wanted to come to see @MrPeterAndre in concert with me," he wrote.

After meeting the Prince, the Britain's Got Talent judge, who was co-hosting the event with presenter Natalie Pinkham, joked: "He's a big Peter Andre fan."

Prince Harry, his brother Prince William and their father Prince Charles – who all attended the gala in London – are known for taking comedy in their stride, often engaging in a touch of banter with personalities and the public.

And the trio were all smiles during the evening, later posing with the Military Wives Choir and street lyricist George The Poet.

Prince Charles, founder of the Business In The Community charity which was behind the dinner, shared his delight at being accompanied by his two sons.

He told the audience that he was "proud, delighted and amazed that my own next generation has decided to accompany me here tonight".

Charles brought a touch of his own comedy to the evening, adding, "Perhaps curiosity has finally got the better of them?"
