One of the Prince's Charities, Business in the Community, of which Prince Charles is President, has supported From Babies with Love to help over 1,000 babies around the world. From Babies with Love, the baby brand that donates 100% of its profits to orphaned and abandoned children, is a member of Business in the Community's arc programme, a scheme to support businesses that have a social or environmental purpose, known as Social Enterprises.

Profits from the sale of From Babies with Love's collection of organic baby clothes, blankets, nursery accessories and teddy bears all go to the international charity SOS Children's Villages, who care for orphaned and abandoned children in loving family homes.

For example baby Monia, from Burundi, was welcomed in to her new family when she was just a few months old. Her SOS Mother says she's a sweet and playful baby who loves to be with other people. She already has a best friend in her village, and as one of the youngest children in her village and she is frequently the centre of attention, especially amongst the older children.

Thanking him for his support, From Babies with Love founder Cecilia Crossley presented From Babies with Love's business model to The Prince of Wales in 2013, when she gave a baby grow gift for the new Grandpa to give to Prince George. Recently Cecilia met His Royal Highness once more, this time giving two teddy bears, Christmas presents for Prince George and Princess Charlotte."The teddy bears are made in partnership with and sold exclusively at Boots, Cecilia explains. This partnership would not have happened without the support of the Prince's Charities".

Cecilia adds, "we make beautiful baby products, that minimise impact on the environment, and help vulnerable children. We're thrilled to have reached the milestone of helping over 1,000 children and look forward to helping many more".

Knowing of his interest in environmental matters, Cecilia spoke with His Royal Highness about the use of certified organic cotton in From Babies with Love's garments, and the ethical sourcing of the beanie bottomed teddy bears, the filling of which is made from recycled plastic bottles, reducing the amount of plastic that goes to landfill.
