Americans mourn the passing of the 'Lion of the Senate' Ted Kennedy

One of the final acts of Ted Kennedy's life was to endorse Barack Obama. The Kennedy clan issued a statement saying they had lost "the irreplaceable center of our family and joyous light in our lives"
