Victoria and Albert: the art of love

A symbol of their love throughout the years, the parts of this parure were gifts Victoria received from 1839 to 1846. Upon their engagement, Albert sent her a gold and porcelain brooch in the form of an orange blossom. By February 1846, the parure was complete with the wreath, an anniversary gift. Victoria wore pieces from the set on every wedding anniversary she celebrated with her husband before his death in 1861
