Mette-Marit mixes with the Milan fashion crowd at sensual Emilio Pucci show

As many royal watchers have noticed Princess Mette-Marit has been through something of a style evolution lately, opting for some truly show-stopping looks - such as her sensational tiered gown at Victoria of Sweden's wedding.

So it comes as no surprise to see her front row at Milan Fashion Week at the Emilio Pucci presentation.

At the show she met Hollywood minx Jada Pinkett Smith (pictured), Vogue Italia editor Franca Sozzani (wearing a black dress) and legendary fashion writer Suzy Menkes (in a patterned jacket).

The Norwegian royal was there to support her fellow countryman, chief designer Peter Dundas.

New York trained Peter has said: "I love the body, and I love communicating with the body".

He is also on a "continual quest to empower women with their femininity".

His Spring/Summer 2011 collection was a celebration of island life and evoked the Ibiza and Mykonos jet set.
