The Queen embraces tradition on five-day state visit to the Middle East

Fresh from the excitement of her grandson’s wedding announcement, Queen Elizabeth II touched down in Abu-Dhabi on a five-day state visit to the region.

As preparations for William's big day got underway back home, the busy 84-year-old looked to strengthen ties between the UK and the Gulf states, and was joined by her son Prince Andrew along the way.
