The Prince, however, does plan to spend some quality time with his girlfriend of nearly two years before the 25 of December and after.

The couple were recently the subject of wedding rumours but last month, Cressida's half-brother denied that the socialite and Prince Harry were planning to tie the knot.

Jacobi Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe said the buzz surrounding an impending wedding was "ludicrous".He also spoke about the media's intense interest in his younger half-sister, who is the daughter of his mother Lady Mary-Gaye Curzon by another marriage.

"I think on some level it is different to any other type of fame. "It's just an invasion of privacy, which is hard. I mean, there are people who court that, and it's a different mentality. But when you're not, and you have to spend your life hiding from it, I think that becomes very exhausting and quite hard work. "And at times...I think it's a difficult thing, I think it's a very difficult thing."
