The Countess of Wessex cracks up during game of table cricket

The Countess of Wessex tried her hand at table cricket on Wednesday during a visit to Treloars College, the Hampshire school of which she is royal patron.

Sophie, who wore a chic pale pink coat and matching trousers for the engagement, was left blushing as she repaired the table's barriers she had knocked out of place during the fast-paced game.

The 49-year-old clasped her hand over her mouth when she realised she'd hit the green barricade, laughing uproariously with the college's patron Paralympian Ben Rushgrove - who had been explaining the game's rules.Sophie Wessex gets bridal henna tattooone month ahead of 15th wedding anniversary During her appearance, Prince Edward's wife met with students at the college, which specifically caters for disabled children.

The mum-of-two was shown around the building by PE teacher Ellie Whitehead, pausing to chat to pupils along the way, before unveiling a plaque commemorating her visit to the outdoor sporting facilities.
