It hadn't been a particularly easy day for Felipe, as a Palma de Mallorca court had just charged the king's sister Cristina and her husband Inaki Urdangarin with fiscal fraud and money laundering. Letizia, nevertheless, was on hand to support her husband throughout the military event. The royal couple, who are parents to Princesses Leonor and Sofía, showed that they were a united front at even the most difficult of times as they smiled affectionately and walked arm in arm after the ceremony.
