And while she would be faithful to Spanish designers on later outings, the emblematic white suit she chose for her official engagement announcement was by top Italian couturier Giorgio Armani. Copycat ensembles immediately began to appear in shops around Spain, and a Madrid wax museum's newly-minted Letizia figure also sported the crisp, two-piece look.
