At one lunch she hosted for 480 youngsters in support of the Australian Mental Health Foundation, she'd asked the chef to recreate the Tasmanian wedding cake that was served at her nuptials last May in Copenhagen.
The princess entertained young cancer patients at the Westmead Children's Hospital with a special reading of one of Denmark's favourite fairytales, Hans Christian Andersen's The Ugly Duckling. The children then took turns posing questions. "Do your shoes hurt?" asked one boy. "No, I can walk in them," responded the stylish royal.
