||Being born into the Royal Family brings many benefits, but it also carries a high price. For although members of the monarchy are privy to a level of wealth and influence that most people can only dream of, they are also precluded from ever experiencing a normal life.
Prince Henry Charles Albert David Windsor, the second son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, was born on September 15, 1984. The youngster's red hair seemed to complement his personality, as he earned a reputation in the years that followed for being mischievous. Dubbed "the happy prince" by Fleet Street editors, he relished trips to the cinema and amusement parks with his doting mum, before going on to charm teachers at Wetherby Preparatory School in West London and then Ludgrove in Berkshire.
His world was shattered, however, on August 31, 1997 when his mother lost her life in a Parish car crash.
