||Sources close to the Royal Family say Prince Charles was determined his children should not experience the same formality that characterised his own upbringing. The trauma of losing his mother will inevitably have taken its toll, but Harry nonetheless enjoys a close relationship with his father. Father and son share a passion for polo - which often has them joining forces on the Highgrove team – and regularly holiday together in Klosters or Balmoral.
The young Prince is also close to cousins Peter and Zara. But his strongest family bond is with his older brother William, who has firmly defended him in the face of sometimes uncomfortable media attention. In recent years Harry has also drawn closer to his stepmother Camilla and her children Tom and Laura.
