Guests will enjoy a banquet at the royal palace to top off the celebrations
After the ceremony, the newlyweds will embark on a procession through Madrid in a Rolls Royce convertible which was also used in 1997 when Infanta Cristina wed athlete Iñaki Urdangarin. Throngs of wellwishers are expected to line the streets to catch a glimpse of the couple, who represent the first crown prince and his bride to wed in Spain in 100 years.
