Felipe ordered custom-made Murcian tiles for the kitchen and bathroom and originally chose carpeting for the bedrooms, but, after some sage decorating advice from his mother the queen, opted for wooden flooring.
He’s added sentimental touches to the property, too, giving wall space to a collection of newspaper caricatures of himself, as well as portraits of his father and grandfather. The Pabellon has also become home to childhood souvenirs such as his first telescope and some soft toys he’s had since he was a boy. It remains to be seen if Letizia will be lending a princess' touch to the décor.
