The home of the Order of the Garter, Britain's senior order of chivalry, St George's contains the tombs of no fewer than ten kings, including Henry VIII. The historic building has been a place of both joy and sorrow for the today's Royal Family. It is where the Queen's youngest son, Prince Edward, married Sophie Rhys-Jones, and is also the final resting place of the late Queen Mother. |
