THE RECEPTION – The State Apartments at Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle, which is the favourite residence of the Queen and whose many suites are used by her for official state and ceremonial occasions, will be the setting of one of the most highly anticipated celebrations of the year – Charles and Camilla's wedding reception.
Around 700 guests are expected to attend the party held in the opulent interior of the castle. The mid-to-late afternoon affair, paid for by the Queen, will be formal, but low-key, with guests enjoying canapes at a catered buffet likely prepared by the Queen's kitchen staff.
