THE HONEYMOON – Birkhall, Scotland
Located above the River Muick in the Scottish Highlands, Birkhall has long been a favourite retreat for Prince Charles. Once the late Queen Mother's home, it is set on the Royal Family's 50,000-acre Balmoral estate and was where the Prince went for solace as he mourned his beloved grandmother's death.
Now used as the Prince Of Wales' Scottish residence, these days Birkhall is the scene of happier times as Charles and Camilla will spend their first days as husband and wife there.
