Keely chose American fashion designer Richard Tyler to style the gown for her big day. "His gowns have classic elegance, beautiful lines and exquisite tailoring," she said, adding that it was a joy that he offered his services. "I had seen a collection of his, featuring a beautiful coat as a wedding dress. My vision for the coat was lace, to make it lighter, airier and more romantic, to suit the abbey."

But it did not all go to plan. "I had hoped to wear this beautiful lace coat over my wedding dress during the ceremony, then take it off at the party so I could dance and enjoy myself. But the dress we had initially envisioned didn't fit with the coat, so I decided to keep the dress for the party and Richard designed a very simple silk slip dress to go underneath the coat instead. It's easy to move in and incredibly beautiful."

"The dress was designed and made with love, hope, dreams and pearls and beautiful lace… what more could a girl ask for?"
