Over the course of her 30-year career Gloria has become one of Britain's best-loved television presenters. The Northern Irish celeb first caught the public's attention with her radio programme Taste Of Hunni in the early Seventies, and in the years since, her work on shows like This Morning, Sunday Sunday and We Love TV has established her as one of the nation's favourite personalities. Her talents aren't limited to the small screen, either, as she has also written several books and produced a fitness video.
Gloria's story also encompasses tragedy, however. Her beloved daughter, Caron, died of cancer last year, and people all over Britain were left in shock after the 41-year-old, who like her mum was a top TV presenter, passed away. It was with the same courage and generosity that made her so popular in the first place that Gloria bounced back from the loss by setting up a foundation to raise money for cancer research. |
