no better place to catch up with three of the world's most beautiful
tennis players than the Hotel Hassler Villa Medici in Rome.
Privately owned by Roberto Wirth, the hotel's walls are graced
with paintings of the High Renaissance and its Golden Book of
guests bears the names of kings, queens, presidents and Hollywood
stars.
And now to this list can be added three more names. Kim Clijsters,
Jelena Dokic and Barbara Schett may not be world leaders,
but their ascent to the top of the tennis tree, not to mention
their beauty, will ensure that their names will be known the
world over for some years to come. Russian tennis star Anna
Kournikova is, at present, the premier player to combine tennis
skill with beauty and sophistication off the court, but these
three are certainly snapping at her heels.
