Having shown off her adventurous side in Charlie's Angels, Cameron Diaz plans to do a little real life exploring as the host of a cutting-edge travel series for music channel MTV.
The sexy blonde, who has lived up to her onscreen action-girl image in real life with her surfing exploits, will travel around the globe with her friends for the as-yet-untitled programme. In each location covered she will be addressing environmental issues. The sporty actress and her pals will have to do without the usual star perks such as personal assistants – or even average amenities such as indoor plumbing, however.
Cameron has reportedly already set off on her first adventure. She and fellow Angel Drew Barrymore are currently in Chile, where the blonde bombshell has been trying her hand at sand surfing.
The new MTV project isn't the first time Cameron been part of a travel series. Last year, she appeared on the BBC's The Holiday Show after a crew filming in Belize happened across her in a local restaurant. The millionaire film star, in the region campaigning against a dam project which endangered local wildlife, offered to participate in the show if she could use the opportunity to raise awareness for the cause.
