Taylor Swift is known for her generosity, so it comes as no surprise that she found a special way to thank her crew following her successful 1989 world tour. The Wildest Dreams singer revealed that she took all 125 crew members on a holiday to Hamilton Island just off mainland Australia.

Sharing a photo of the cast together on stage, the singer wrote: "So stoked to be able to take my band and crew on a vacation at the end of a long and wonderful tour. For all their hard work this year, they really deserve it.

"Thank you to Hamilton Island for taking such great care of 125 of the people who work tirelessly to make sure the 1989 World Tour stage gets built, the lights are on, the costumes are made, the guitars are tuned, and the show goes on."

The holiday comes during a small break between shows in Australia, with the group set to resume their work with a show in Brisbane on Saturday. Taylor will then play another six dates in Australia before her tour comes to an end in Melbourne on 12 December – one day before Taylor's 26th birthday.

Taylor and her crew appear to be making the most of their time on the island judging by the photos shared on social media, with one image posted by the singer showing herself and a large group all gathered together while smelling large pink flowers.

Another showed Taylor and three female crew members in colourful beach dresses, along with the caption: "When the girls came over wearing beautiful beachy dresses they got at the gift shop, then said they got me one too."

Taylor is quickly proving herself to be the most generous performer in the industry after a number of good deeds both to her employees and her fans. In July she donated $50,000 to an 11-year-old fan who is suffering from Leukaemia, while she has also sent one loyal supporter a generous package including a cheque for $1,989to help pay off her student loans.
