GALLERY: Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal tour of New Zealand

Christchurch

Monday 14 April

William and Kate begin the day with a traditional greeting from members of the Ngai Tahu iwi. Pictured here: Prince Charles arrives at Christchurch City Council Civic offices during his Diamond Jubilee Tour in 2012 where he and Camilla received a tradtional Maori welcome, which involves a nose-rubbing tradition.

The couple then remember the 185 people who died in the 2011 earthquake with a memorial and, later, watch and participate in a 2015 Cricket World Cup event.

Tuesday 15 April
William and Kate have a free day, which they will no doubt spend with baby George.

Wednesday 16 April
The royal couple return to Wellington, where the New Zealand leg of their tour kicked off, before flying on to Sydney, Australia, for the second part of their trip.
