Popular activites

Apart from the obvious activities – skiing and snowboarding – Megéve offers unique experiences such as hot air balloon rides and dog sledging.

The hot air balloon takes thrill-seekers up to 1,500 and 2,500 metres. The ride lasts one hour - enough time to encounter the highest mountains of the Alps, as well as the chains of Mont Blanc, Aravis, Beaufortain, Bauges and Fiz.

How to get there

Getting to Megève is easy if you fly to its nearest airport, Geneva, which is an one hour drive via the Albertville-Chamonix motorway. Flights to Geneva are available from all London airports.

Hiring a car is recommended to explore the surrounding areas and take in the stunning views. The BMW 4 series convertible is a great option as it's fitted with heated neck warmers and steering wheel, meaning travellers can have the top down to enjoy the scenery while keeping warm.
