29 MARCH 2010

After an engagement of 12 years, soul mates Jackie and Paul Drozdz finally got to say "I do".

The setting for the much-anticipated ceremony was the magnificent Leez Priory, Essex, which the bride, groom and 120 guests had to themselves.

Ever unconventional, Paul didn't have a best man, but a best girl in the shape of daughter Emma, who also doubled as a bridesmaid along with the couple's niece Jade Warrington.

Celebrating long into the night, every guest found their comfort zone whether it was in the cellar disco, piano room or bar!

The happy couple continued on to a brief stay at their favourite country house – Coombe House in Gittisham – before jetting off to Venezuela for the real honeymoon.

Very sadly Jackie's father Mick Bruce died shortly after the wedding, but she wanted to say that the memories of her special day, like him, will live on forever with her.
