    Ingredients 1kg/2lb cherries 250g/8oz caster sugar 250ml/8fl oz good quality red-wine vinegar 4 cloves of garlic 6 peppercorns Method Rinse, dry and pick over the cherries discarding any that are bruised or imperfect.
