  • Restaurant review: Tozi

Victoria might not be top on your list of areas in London to head to eat. But with Venetian restaurant Tozi just minutes from the underground station, it should be. After stepping inside, we were transported to the heart of Italy with a large open kitchen, hanging legs of ham, prosecco on tap and other rustic touches. We started with a selection of delicious handmade breads before taking in a (huge!) selection of cicchetti, small Venetian plates. The head chef is is Maurilio Molteni, who was previously at the helm of private member’s club Shoreditch House.

  • Restaurant review: Thali London

In a modern setting with Indian decor, the restaurant is relaxed and comfortable. The staff couldn't be friendlier – passionate about the food they're serving, we acquired a real insight into North Indian cuisine from our waiter. The food was divine – the waiter recommended the spinach chaat to start, which is one of their signature dishes and has people from all over the world returning to Thali,

It is perhaps most famous for the panelled Morse Bar, the watering hole of the world-famous detective Inspector Morse. The check-in staff were friendly and helpful and we were quickly ushered to our room, an Executive Room. It boasted a luxurious study room, an incredibly comfortable bed and a pleasing
