    Adam Thomas has taken to Twitter to set the record straight following reports that he is leaving Emmerdale. The 28-year-old actor was said to be quitting the ITV soap after eight years playing Adam Barton in order to pursue his own TV show. But he seemed to suggest to his social media followers that not everything is as it seems.
