55 per cent rise in hostel bookings for royal wedding weekend

The excitement surrounding the wedding has spread far and wide – and it seems people the world over are flocking to London to celebrate the nuptials in the same country as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Generator London, Europe's design-led hostel brand, announced that bookings on the weekend of the royal wedding are up by 55 per cent from last year, proving that the wedding is bringing a major tourism boost to London.
