In true Scottish style Robert and his fellow compatriots were kitted out in kilts, while his bride-to-be Christine opted for a princess-style tiara and bouquet of white calla lilies.
The pair were joined by friends and family from all over the UK and even Robert's uncle from Texas. A special mention also goes to Robert's grandma of 91 years who also managed to join in the celebrations.
The reception started off with champagne, strawberries and canapes followed by an impressive falconry display.
Just before the celebrations came to a close, the newlyweds and their guests lit up night sky lanterns. Christine said it was the perfect end to a "fairytale day".
The couple will be honeymooning in Jamaica this November.
